The World is a Notion
Satsang from November 22, 1992
59 minutes with English subtitles
In The World is a Notion Papaji discusses the underlying cause of suffering: the notion that "I am the body." He explains how to remove that belief and to realize the immaculate nature of Being. He eloquently discusses the Essence of all that appears, which he defines as Consciousness, Presence, or Truth. Peace, the source of peace, and that which disturbs peace is discussed. Papaji answers the question, "Does one need intellect in order to understand who one is?" He then discusses the difference between intellect and understanding. Finally, he leads the student to that place where all questions are answered and reveals the way by which one may continually abide therein.

Nothing Ever
Happened (Biography)
Edited by David Godman.
In 1994, Papaji encouraged David Godman to work
on a book that would narrate the events of his
long and extraordinary life. These three volumes,
totaling over 1200 pages, are the fruits of this
intensive labor of love. Issued individually or as a boxed or unboxed set,
they tell the story of Papaji's life and teachings
up to 1990, when he was "discovered"
by large numbers of westerners.
