Return to Silence
--2008 COMPILATION--
by Papaji...1 hour - captioned in English
$14.95 plus shipping and handling

The theme that runs throughout this compilation (extracts from several satsangs) is “Silence.” Papaji states, and demonstrates, that Silence is one's real, and permanent, nature. He goes on to say that Silence is the ground and substance of everything in existence. He also answers the question, “Can one be silent while being active in the world? “
Papaji speaks of the way by which Sri Ramana Maharshi demonstrated Silence and what he taught about how to realize it. As importantly, he speaks of the means by which we distract ourselves from the experience and realization of Silence.
He explains the meaning of freedom, or enlightenment, and the simplicity of awakening. During this discussion he also speaks about, and defines, satsang, mind , and atman, and answers the question about the role of the guru. He convincingly assures his devotees that waking up is possible in this lifetime.
The topic of how our Recognition, or lack thereof, affects all beings is beautifully explained. We actually see an example of this when one devotee, while speaking to Papaji, suddenly recognizes Silence as the reality of his being and the viewer is drawn into the profound depths of being. In a spontaneous outpouring, this devotee speaks about “the arrow of Papaji's love which strikes the heart” and which brings one to his knees in gratitude.
Though the content of this compilation is of a profound nature, it is also lighthearted and filled with joy. It ends with a song of gratitude beautifully sung. This is one DVD that you will want to watch over and over. |

Death & Eternity
--2008 COMPILATION--
$14.95 plus shipping and handling.
Papaji speaks about the blessings that derive from sitting with a realized being. He says that, among other things, close association with an awakened teacher will remove the fear of death. He advises students to nourish the desire to be free and to “come with empty hands” and minds to the teacher. He goes on to explain that any concept, including the concept of birth and death, stands as an obstacle to awakening. He encourages devotees to always aspire for that which lies beyond birth and death, what he calls “the Changeless,” which abides in the cave of the heart. Constantly meditate on the Changeless, the Self.

Give
me Enlightenment Please!
--2008 COMPILATION--
$14.95 plus shipping and handling.
In this DVD Papaji stresses the fact that one must not only give us the search for enlightenment but, more importantly, the idea that there is one who can engage in a search. He says that the “I” is the only hindrance to the realization of the truth of who one is. The seeker is the problem. He then tells the viewer how to let go of the concept of “I” and, in fact, all concepts. He says, “God is” remains as the only truth—not known but experienced. He also speaks about the blessing of finding a true teacher, a guru, and how one should come to the guru.

Who am I?
--2009 COMPILATION--
$14.95 plus shipping and handling.

This compilation was derived from a series of satsangs in which participants asked Papaji to speak about the experience of “I.” He was repeatedly asked, “Who am I if I am not who I think I am”? Papaji directs one to the “experience of the heart” in which “I” is known directly -- beyond all concepts of past and future. He says that only the heart knows here and now, the only place where I is realized. He goes on to say that, in reality, there is only here and now and points to the means whereby it is realized.

Satsang on November 6, 1992 - digitally remastered
Following his talk on the Self, Papaji is asked about overcoming
karma. He says that in knowing oneself karma ceases to function,
and then describes the impediments to such realization and
the means whereby realization is achieved. Papaji also addresses
a question about Vipassana meditation and, by association,
meditation in general. Later in this satsang, he uses a
wonderful story about a Sufi saint as a means of teaching
about the nature of Reality.

The
Fire of Freedom, Satsang with Papaji, Volume 1
Edited by David Godman. 291 pages with 15 pages of color
photos!
was $18, now 20% off for $14.40, plus shipping and handling.
June 2007
This is a completely new collection of teaching dialogues
between Papaji and visitors who came to see him in Lucknow
in the middle of 1991. At that time only about fifteen people
would come each day, and all the satsangs were held in the
living room of Papaji’s house.
In these conversations Papaji explains the practical teachings
of his Master, Ramana Maharshi, in a simple and forceful
way. As he engages his visitors in discussions about the
nature of spiritual freedom and the means by which it can
be discovered, he is always looking for an opportunity to
take his questioners back to the source of their minds so
that they can find out for themselves, by direct experience,
what he is trying to show them.
