Papaji Speaks -- Om Shantis Vol. 1
DVD is $14.95, plus shipping and handling
(with English subtitles)

Om Shanti from September 4, 1992 - 22 minutes
Papaji asks, “Who is the witness of all activities, personal and universal?” Who was the witness before the creation of the universe and, thus, before the Creator? And, why is it important to consider?
Om Shanti from November 17, 1992 - 18 minutes
Papaji maintains that worship is not foreign to enlightened ones. Everything is Consciousness, and worship of Consciousness in whatever form it appears acknowledges that Consciousness is all there is. Consciousness, or the Self, reveals Itself to Itself. If you worship all things as Consciousness, you will never forget who you are.
Om Shanti from November 26, 1992 - 18 minutes
Behold the inner flame. Call this flame the Self, Atman, Enlightenment, or Freedom. There are three ways to find it:
1. Absolute dedication for it.
2. Completely abandon all desires
3. Enquire into the nature of the Self
Any one of these is quite enough. This flame is always within your Heart--it is not distant. At some level you must be aware of this or the attractions of the world would satisfy you. You are not satisfied. Only that which is eternal can satisfy you. Peace is eternal. You must decide that this is what you want and then you must dedicate yourself to it. Then you must share it with all beings. |

Papaji Speaks -- Om Shantis Vol. 2
DVD is $14.95 plus shipping and handling
(with English subtitles)

This video, Om Shanti Clips, Volume 2, includes the opening introductions, or “om shantis” to three different public talks, Satsangs, in 1992. Only Papaji speaks in each of these clips. There are no questions-and-answers.
Om Shanti from November 6, 1992 - 24 minutes
Papaji says that if you know the answer to the question, “Who are you?” karma ceases to function and samsara ceases to exist. You return to your original nature: Being, Existence, Bliss. This is the only reason you are here. He then goes on to discuss the means by which the answer becomes apparent.
Om Shanti from November 23, 1992 - 16 minutes
Papaji discusses the original notion, or idea, from which the entire illusory universe was born. He says that those who look at the fruit of this notion will suffer endlessly because it hides the substratum of all that appears--which is the source of all joy. He explains the underlying Reality, God or Consciousness, and the means by which the illusion can be dissolved so that Reality can be realized.
Om Shanti from December 21, 1992 - 15 minutes
Papaji says that silence, which is one’s true nature and the source of all happiness, is the purpose of all practices. For example, he says that the joy that seems to come from the attainment of some goal is not in the gain itself, but becomes apparent as ever-present because the mind is now silent. He maintains that it is possible to be silent even in the midst of activity, which is also Sri Ramana Maharshi’s main teaching. Papaji says that silence, which is synonymous with freedom, answers all questions. However, he says not to run after freedom or enlightenment. If you keep quiet it will find you. He doesn’t leave us with only the insight into the importance of silence, but goes on to tell us how to achieve (or, recognize) silence as the ever-present substratum of awareness. |

Papaji Speaks -- Om Shantis Vol. 3
DVD is $14.95 plus shipping and handling

Om Shanti from October 10, 1992 – 14 min
Papaji explains how the close association with a realized teacher removes the fear of death. Such association will help one to get rid of the concepts of birth and death - neither of which exist in reality – and to spark the desire to be free which is the only truly helpful desire.
Om Shanti from December 1, 1992 – 16 min
In this segment, Papaji speaks about desire. He says that to give up all desire, but for a instant, you will see that mind and ego do not exist. In the emptiness of no-mind there is no union and no separation. There is only This which One eternally is.
Om Shanti from January 23, 1993
Papaji explains that the words “keep quiet,” which are heard so often in satsang, is not something that one does, but is in fact, what you always are. You are always quiet. It is your true nature. When Papaji says to keep quiet he is simply saying do not take up any thought; recognize what is always the case prior to, during, and after all thoughts. |

DVD is $14.95 plus shipping and handling

Om Shanti from October 3, 1992 – 13 minutes
Papaji explains that there was, is, and always will be only Emptiness from which all appearances arise. Our challenge is to remain the witness of all that is played out on the screen of Emptiness. He goes on to explain how to see Emptiness in form.
Om Shanti from December 11, 1992 – 12 minutes
Papaji counsels a dying woman with regard to the reality of Life, or Consciousness, which cannot die. In the process, of course, he is counseling all of us. He challenges all of us to first know ourselves and then to speak of death.
Om Shanti from December 22, 1992 – 20 minutes
This is considered by those who were present, in the satsang from which this excerpt is taken, to be one of Papaji’s best presentations on silence and devotion. |

Papaji Speaks -- Om Shantis Vol. 5
DVD is $14.95 plus shipping and handling

Om Shanti from December 10 1992 – 37 min
This is a long discourse in which the false promises of all the pleasures of the world of form are exposed . Papaji does not leave the listener in hopelessness but goes on to explain how to avoid the suffering that comes from the pursuit of pleasure. He speaks of Self Knowledge in which one sees through the illusion of the ego and its promises to the Reality in which we abide. It is called freedom, peace, happiness, beauty and love. This talk includes a beautiful description of ego and the means by which it deflects us from the realization of that place where we are eternally seated.
Om Shanti from November 3, 1992 – 30 minutes
Papaji gives a very clear explanation of enlightenment and why it seems, so often, to be impossible to attain. He says, despite the believe in the separation from That which one is, that it is possible to realize the truth about oneself this very moment and goes on to tell us how. He finishes this talk with a provocative and profound statement: “The ultimate truth is that nothing ever existed. It’s all Silence.”
Om Shanti from November 21, 1992 – 4 minutes
This volume of talks ends with a short call for true non-action in which we realize delight, bliss and That which lies beyond every possible conception of what it means to realize, or be, the truth: “Let there be peace – delight, bliss and beyond. |
